Kensington Junior Netball Club: Several local parents recognised that women's and girls' netball opportunities were needed, given the popularity of women's netball in Australia and the lack of netball clubs in Kensington or Flemington. Kensington Junior Netball Club was founded with the support of NetSetGo, Netball Victoria, and Kensington Primary School.

Founded in 2021, the Kensington Junior basketball team has grown from a single team playing at MSAC to a club of about 30 teams playing in the Westgate Basketball Association. Currently fielding girls and boys teams from U10 to U18 playing competitive basketball each week. Players train on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at Flemington Primary School, the North Melbourne Recreation Centre (Arden Street), VU Footscray Park or VU Whitten Oval.

Football Club
The football club currently serves members of North Melbourne, Kensington, Flemington, Footscray and Ascot Vale but welcomes players from all over Melbourne. With a strong community identity, we strive to promote a fully inclusive, fun and competitive football club. KFJSC is proud to have multiple teams of boys and girls in most age groups from 5 to under 18.
Cricket Club
The Kensington Junior Cricket Club runs a comprehensive junior program that caters for boys and girls fielding sides on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings with teams in U10s, 12s, 14s and 16s. In addition there is also a dedicated Girls competition on Monday evenings. Younger players can join in the Woollies Blasters sessions on Friday evening.
